WHAT I'LL BE SHARING

-> my emergent theory of historical & collective change developed, by accident, during my decades of scholarly study (which led me to leave academia & enter the online space)

-> how I'm building an Emergent Institution in real-time, from scratch, from the bottom up (the good, the bad, & the ugly...yet infinitely satisfying)

-> the somatic & energetic work necessary to conceive & lead a collective body (including a potent practice to create inner space for this)

BUT I'M NOT JUST TEACHING YOU MY TEMPLATE FOR CREATING EMERGENT INSTITUTIONS (THOUGH I WILL BE SHARING THAT).

I'M ACTUALLY RECRUITING YOU TO CO-DEVELOP THESE TEMPLATES WITH ME. 

All my teaching spaces are emergent, experimental, and inevitably result in new knowledge in me & my "students."

All my work is developed through exchange & collaboration with you. Through your questions, your thoughts, your experiences, and even just the challenge of presenting my work to you.

ABOUT YOUR HOST

My name is Caroline Claire Durlacher & I am the founder & steward of the Lyceum.

I am a now feral scholar who has studied at Yale (BA), the University of Vienna, & UC Berkeley (MA) -- where I left after 6 years of doctoral study. I left just before finishing my PhD, which would have qualified me to pursue a career as a university professor.

Since 2022, I have been experimenting in public with the project of birthing an entire institution, from scratch -- but from a very different template than the ones we encounter in the world.

In the process, I have developed prototypes for Transformational Sales, Marketing, & Offer Creation, Embodied Pedagogy, & Emergent Institution-Building which I teach & practice with my clients & co-creators inside the Lyceum.
