Artists under Capitalism often think they are struggling to create & thrive because:

→ The system discourages creativity & meaning

These statements are true in a way, but here's the twisted secret:

THEY ARE ACTUALLY CAPITALISM SPEAKING THROUGH US.

The voice telling us those things is the same voice that also wants us to believe that we are:

lazy, undisciplined, not real artists, there's no point, etc.

The reason my immersion last year was so powerful was that it disproved in practice the faulty assumption behind all these statements: 

IT DISPROVED THE LIE THAT MONEY & ART, POLITICS & BUSINESS, TEACHING & CREATING ARE SEPARATE. 

This is the real reason Artists under Capitalism are struggling.

→ Not because their art isn't good enough

→ Not because their audience isn't big enough

→ Not because they haven't been discovered by the gatekeepers, critics, or algorithm yet 

But because they feel that creating their art is separate from politics, from money, from building the world they were born to live in.

Three years ago, I left my humanities PhD just before finishing.

I left because inside academia I felt disconnected from the world & my purpose & my power.

I wanted to build a new kind of school for Artists under Capitalism.

But I felt like I was burning my life down.

Setting fire to the years & decades I had spent to get where I got.

All the forms I'd put so much effort into learning.

But the truth was, my work had simply outgrown the context that had first helped it grow.

Graduate school had helped me find my real work, but I didn’t want to shrink it to fit inside a dying system...

I wanted to create art that could mutate any system it encountered.

It’s not because you’re too intense.

It’s because part of what you built wasn’t designed to survive your evolution as an artist.

When I left academia I knew I didn't want to spend energy building something I was going to have to burn down again.

I *only* wanted to build what I *knew* would survive the fire of my inevitable creative evolution.

I wanted structures that could be dismantled & put back together again without flinching.

But when I entered the online business space, I found a maze of clunky & incompatible frameworks, tools, strategies & devices,

each made to fix one sliver of a business...

But no guidance & no frameworks for how to *create* a *living* one.

I was told to pick a niche, be consistent, follow through...

Or assured that I should just 'stay in the energy' – while the world was burning around me.

But artists don’t need repetition.

We need space & autonomy combined with intuitive, adaptable frameworks we can iterate with *while we're in motion.*

So, scrappy artist that I am -
I began designing them.

I didn't create these frameworks & principles all at once.

I designed them in iteration.

Through launches, collapses, refinements, and rebuilds.

Each cycle strengthening the container instead of destroying it.

Now I’m sharing what I’ve refined over the past 3 years — and inviting you to build with me.

I combined: 
→ my decade of experience in college-level curricular design, immersive language teaching, & creative workshop facilitation

→ my new on-the-ground obsessive study of the tactics & strategies of social media marketing & business

→ and my concrete experience of being neurodivergent, highly sensitive, c-ptsd etc, and building a business on social media in late capitalism.

The result: I developed  intuitive, adaptable, *meaningful* frameworks & principles that artists under capitalism can actually use to build their art-first, pedagogically sound business *in real time*.
